Hair Philosophy: I am not my hair
...but my hair is FABULOUS!
My
love affair with hair began at an early age
and seems to never end!
My
natural hair is similar in texture to what
I call "Rudy Huxtable" hair - thick,
poofy and plentiful. It has been cut to an
even mid-neck level and has been through it's
share of changes! I have worn everything from
cornrows, "Janet Jackson" Poetic
Justice box braids, a Wave Nouveau (don't
ask and I won't tell LOL), relaxer, too tight
- temple diminishing microbraids, itchy and
bulky sew-in weaves, take-my-hair-out bonded
weaves, makeshift human hair ponytails and
FINALLY I found the love of my life...full
lace wigs!
When I first began wearing lace wigs the most
difficult task was trying to find someone
who was willing to walk me through the process,
let alone reveal their own secret to beautiful
hair.
